Peter P. Kaminski, Jr., 84, passed away August 14, 2023 in his Reading residence. He was the husband of Donna M. (Chelstowski) Kaminski. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Peter P. Kaminski, Sr. and Marie F. (Lewandowski) Kaminski. Pete was a 1956 graduate of Central Catholic High School. He went on to receive his BA in History from Kutztown University, a Master's in Special Education from Millersville and an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State. He was a veteran of the U.S Airforce. Peter was employed as a Special Education Teacher for the Reading School District for 32 years. He was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Reading, where he was a Church Usher, Altar Server and a member of the Choir. In addition to his wife, Pete is survived by three sons: Peter P. Kaminski, III, companion of Kelly Hyneman, Adam C., husband of Sara Kaminski and their two sons, and David P., husband of Jennifer Kaminski and their sons, Joshua, Andrew and Benjamin. He was pre-deceased by a brother Edward. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 23rd at 10:00 AM in St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Reading. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may pay their condolences on Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Gallman-Sonoski Funeral Home, Inc., 910 Chestnut Street, Reading, PA 19602.
